**Security Officer Swing/Grave – Full Time** _Former military / law enforcement encouraged to apply!!_ **Location:** Colorado Springs, CO **Rate:** $16.50/HR **Available Schedule:** _32 Hours Per Week_ + Sat - Sun: 3:30 PM - 11:30 PM & Mon - Tues: 11:30 PM - 7:30AM At Securitas, on-site Security Officers are the foundation of our organization. The ideal candidates we are seeking will be reliable, accountable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic while adhering to our core values: Integrity, Vigilance, & Helpfulness. **What Your Day May Look Like:** + Greet client employee’s, visitor’s, vendor’s and guests, and provide assistance as needed. + Conduct internal/external foot and mobile patrol when needed to check for unsafe conditions, hazards, security violations, blocked ingress and egress, mechanical problems, unauthorized persons, inspects grounds using appropriate equipment and protective gear. + Monitor entrance/exits, and cameras, provides guidance as needed to client employees and guests. + Complete daily activity, incident reports and logs via Company system. + Maintain access control. + Provide an atmosphere in which all client employees, guests, client, and management know their needs are being met. + Present a good image to the client, client employees and guests. + Operates in a calm manner and directs persons who cause disruption to leave property. + Protects evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations; sets up barriers and signage, and provides direction or information to others. + Observes and reports incidents or suspicious activity to client representatives, Company management, or public safety authorities as appropriate for the circumstances and/or as required by the site. + Acts to ensure that all property removal is conducted within appropriate policy requirements and in accord with client standards. + Carries out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site. **What We Offer:** + Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, AD&D, Disability Insurance, EAP, Plus 401K Options. + Virtual Medical Appointments With Telemedicine. + Paid Time Off, Weekly Pay, Paid Training, & Free Uniforms. + Discounts On Childcare, Pet Daycare, Vehicles, Electronics, Cell Phone Plans, Travel & So Much More! **Position Requirements:** + 18 years of age or older. + High School Diploma or GED Required. + Must be able to conduct patrols throughout shift. + Must have great attention to detail and have the ability to remain vigilant throughout shift. + Understands the nature of customer service and interactions with the public. + Must have Swing and Grave shift availability. + Must be reliable, accountable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic. + Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills a plus. + Must be able to interact with and greet guests, or client employees in a positive manner, while maintaining excellent customer service. + Intermediate computer/technology skills needed to ensure completion of daily activity reports, and logs via handheld devices, and reporting alarms. + Must have excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills to assist guests, vendors, public, client contact, and Office Management. + Must be open to communication and feedback from client, and Office Management. + Must be able to adhere to 15 minute, and lunch breaks. + Must be able to respond to emergencies, with rapid and effective judgment, and use appropriate escalation and force if required. + Must be able to work in a team environment to ensure site/organizational goals are achieved daily. + Must be able to remain organized and professional. + Must be able to learn and adhere to security operations. + Must provide high quality customer service in-person, via radio, and over the telephone. + Must have a personal vehicle, Colorado Driver’s License and clean driving record due to required mobile patrol. + Must be able to obtain Colorado Springs Guard Card license and maintain it every year. + Must be able to attend in-person interview, and in-person orientation if hired in Colorado Springs. + Security, military, or law enforcement experience a plus! **_All candidates must be willing to participate in our background check process._** See a different world.
