We are currently seeking diligent and experienced Security Officers to join our team at Maryborough Brisbane. The successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment by monitoring and controlling access to our client’s premises through gatehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and authorize the entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other individuals to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.Operate security equipment such as CCTV cameras, alarms, and access control systems.Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure safety and security.Respond promptly to alarms and security breaches.Provide exceptional customer service to all individuals entering the premises.Maintain accurate records of visitors and activities on the premises.Report any suspicious activities or incidents to appropriate authorities.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a security officer or in a relevant position.Excellent observation and surveillance skills.Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.Ability to handle emergencies calmly and efficiently.Attention to detail and keen observation skills.Current Security Industry Authority (SIA) License.Current First Aid and CPR certificates.Intermediate computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
