At the Boyers Underground Facility, we are looking for a full time _Security Officer - Armed_ to join our team. In this role, you will be part of a dedicated workforce in a global company that celebrates the skills you bring. Our Security Officers are responsible for ensuring the safe, secure, and welcoming environment for Iron Mountain employees, customers and visitors. Additionally, candidates are responsible for protecting the physical and intangible assets of the Boyer’s Underground facility.

+ Pay: Starting at $20.70/hr, Paid Bi-Weekly via Direct Deposit
+ Schedule: Daylight Panama Schedule (2-2-30), 7 AM to 7 PM, 12 Hour Shifts
+ Location: 1137 Branchton Rd., Boyers, PA 16020
**Responsibilities**
+ Control daily access of individuals and vehicles into and out of the Underground facility, ensuring all entering are properly identified and authorized.
+ Conducting property searches (vehicle/personal property); operating both x-ray equipment and magnetometers
+ Monitoring security/fire alarm systems and CCTV covered assets
+ Respond to alarms and/or potential security breaches, as well as emergencies, in accordance with established procedures, collaborating with other internal departments and outside public safety personnel to facilitate emergency evacuation
+ Conducting routine visual inspections of key assets and locations within and outside the Underground through scheduled roving patrols.
+ Documenting significant security or safety incidents and completing other departmental reports in accordance with established procedures.
+ Providing specific direction to individuals regarding compliance with the rules and regulations of the facility.
+ Quickly/effectively assess and resolve situations that may present a threat to the safety or security of anyone within the Underground facility.
**Qualifications**
+ High School diploma or GED required; College degree preferred.
+ Superior verbal and written communication skills
+ Must be able to manage highly stressful situations
+ Average to above-average level of physical fitness
+ Valid Pennsylvania State Driver’s License with Current Pennsylvania residency
+ Candidates with current EMT or EMR certification are encouraged to apply.
+ Current Pennsylvania Act 235 Certification preferred, but not required
+ Confident in ability to carry a weapon, as well as have the physical strength to retain a weapon in the event of a physical altercation.
