Security Officer Job Description: System One is partnering with a client seeking a Security Officer who will play an integral role in creating peace of mind by protecting company assets, minimizing risk, and ensuring overall safety and security. This is not a typical “security guard” role confined to a static post with limited interaction. Instead, this position offers a highly engaging environment where your presence and responsiveness are key. You will be trained to: + Provide and maintain a safe working environment for employees, contractors, and visitors. + Actively monitor and respond to potential threats against the company. + Serve as a first responder in emergency situations, both individually and as part of a team. Key Responsibilities: + Ensure the safety and security of company property, personnel, and visitors. + Actively patrol and monitor facilities to detect and deter potential risks. + Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies. + Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies during incidents. + Provide customer service-oriented support while enforcing company security policies. + Document and report security activities, incidents, and irregularities.
