About the location:

To maintain and run an efficient and professionally organized office by leading a shift.
Job Responsibilities
General
Executes all tasks assigned by his/her superiors

Adheres to the hotel's code of conduct and grooming & hygiene standards

Actively participates in briefings and meetings.
Maintains a clean and orderly work area and promotes a safe working environment.
Performs any additional duties as assigned.
Departmental
Perform tasks and duties as assigned by the Director of Security/Security Manager during the shift.
Frequent patrolling of public areas, car parking and heart of house areas to prevent intrusion by unauthorized people or undesirables.
Understand the operation of all emergency life safety equipment and respond to all emergency situations that may arise in the hotel.
Be vigilant in observing and correcting potential safety & security concerns.
Able to administer First Aid and CPR when required.
Be able to conduct routine checks on employees and contractors baggage when exiting the hotel premises
Expected to operate and have thorough knowledge in the fire and safety equipment of the hotel, including the fire control panel
Assist guests at the main gate and employees at the back gate.
Ensure all safety and security related incidents are reported to management immediately.
Assist in the arrival and departure of State official visits, dignitaries and government delegations.
Fully versed in the operation of all CCTV equipment, recording systems and report any incidents immediately.
Ensure the main doors of all offices are locked after the normal duty working hours.
Observe and note all important observations in the log book.
Ensure that all the emergency fire exit stair ways are clear of any hindrance.
Check the entire fire panel boards, planters, shaft doors on the floors.
Be alert and vigilant on the guest’s areas and watch out for suspicious and unauthorized persons.
Initiate preventive measures to minimize the risk of fire, accident, gas leakage, oil spills, bomb treat or any other emergency and inform duty Security Supervisor immediately.
Well versed with CPR and carry out CPR checks.
Perform any other cognate duties as and when required
Special Requirements
Secondary Education.
Minimum of 1 year of relevant working experience in a similar function. Prior experience within hotel industry would be an advantage.
Fluent in English (reading, writing and spoken)
Trained in First Aid and CPR.
Computer literate and competent in the use of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, as a minimum).
Ability to conduct investigations and record statements.
Strong leadership skills and proven experience in staff development.
“Hands-on” approach to all tasks.
Physically fit.
