Security Officer – Mitie at City of Coventry Health Centre

Location: 2 Stoney Stanton Road, Coventry, CV1 4FS
Shift Pattern: 4 consecutive shifts on / 4 days off
Hours: 19:00 – 00:00 (5‑hour evening shift)
Rate: £12.60 per hour

About the Role

Join Mitie as a dedicated Security Officer, delivering a professional and visible presence during the evening period. You'll work a rotating 4‑on/4‑off schedule, covering 19:00–00:00, to protect people, property and assets in line with Assignment Instructions provided for City of Coventry Health Centre.

 

Key Responsibilities

Perform access control and patrol duties at the health centre

Monitor CCTV and scanners, responding appropriately

Maintain logs and write accurate incident reports

Report any safety hazards or suspicious activity promptly

Liaise with the Mitie Security Account Manager and NHS site staff as needed

Ensure all duties comply with site policies and UK legal standards Mitie Careers

  Essential Requirements

Valid SIA licence (Security Guard or CCTV PSS)

Previous security experience, especially in healthcare or public-facing settings preferred

High attention to detail, strong communication skills, and reliability

Ability to work independently while staying alert during evening hours
