Posting Number NONAC3544 Job Title Security Officer Position Title Security Officer Position Type Non-Faculty Number of vacancies 3 Salary Department Public Safety Position Summary Under the general supervision of the police Sergeant, the Police Officer performs a wide variety of routine and complex public safety work in the performance of patrol, investigations, citizen assistance, and other law enforcement related activities. + Provides routine guidance and safety support for institutional facilities and assets. + Manages the security desk and permits entry of authorized persons; observes departing personnel to guard against theft of school assets and property. + Patrols interior and exterior of MSM buildings; visually checks and monitors all areas; investigates unusual situations.
