Job Summary
The Security Officer is responsible for the safety and security of all employees, visitors, vendors, critical infrastructure, and building grounds at the facility assigned.
Essential Functions
Qualifications
H.S. Diploma or GED required 2-4 years work Experience in Law Enforcement, Military, physical or corporate security, and/or a combination of the three. requiredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to perform walking patrols on the premises and other CHS buildings as necessary. Ability to utilize Security camera and access control systems. Ability to reason, establish facts and work through situations with uncooperative individuals. Postures a professional working attitude at all times. Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet information and other basic computer applications. Ability to secure and protect sensitive information. Ability and skill to respond and take necessary action related to emergencies.Licenses and Certifications
Firearm License Must be licensed by the State of Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance Protective Services as a Armed Security Officer before date of hire. required
