Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a part-time Overnight Security Officer to join our team at The Lodge at Geneva in Geneva, Ohio. As a Security Guard, you will work with our night auditor to ensure the security of our property and guests. What will you do?Oversee the protection and safety of company assets, patrons, and team membersEnforce all company, department, and organizational policies and procedures and report incidentsObserve and report procedural violations and illegal activityFill out departmental log forms, verify that all paperwork is complete and turned in Assist with fires, wind storms, floods, blizzards, evacuations, and other emergencies as directedProvide security for special functionsLight cleaning assignmentsSnow removal during the winter monthsOperates motor vehicle as necessary

More about youAt least 18 years of ageBasic math skills including addition and subtractionDemonstrate skill in dealing with guest complaints, using active listening skills to control difficult situations and maintain guest goodwillAbility to work in fast-paced environmentMust be available to work weekends, holidays, and special eventsNo experience requiredMust have a valid drivers license. 

Physical requirementsThe ability to see, hear, walk, run, sit, squat, bend, reach and grasp objects throughout the shift in all weather conditionsMust be able to carry up to 50 pounds
