Job Description As the newest security guard, you will be responsible for opening and closing the gate for visitors. You will also be monitoring the entry and welfare of the site. You will make regular rounds to ensure the grounds are secure. You will be responsible for handing out checks, logging visitors, and reporting suspicious activities.  Responsibilities: Verifying identification, logging visitors, and ensuring only authorized personnel enter the warehouse. Observing entry and exit points, watching for suspicious activity, and monitoring surveillance cameras. Addressing alarms, incidents, and emergencies, and communicating with other security personnel and management. Conducting periodic patrols of the warehouse premises, both on foot and potentially in a vehicle. Maintaining logs of all activity, reporting security breaches, and completing incident reports.  Qualifications and Requirements: 1 year gate guard experienceHigh School diploma or GED preferredStrong, interpersonal skills, friendly Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus Ability to work alone for long periods of time Benefits and Perks: Pay Rate-$16Medical Benefits Holidays off! Training & GrowthYour New Organization:Roger Wood Foods is a 3rd generation, family-owned and operated food processing company, recognized for making great sausages.
