Responsibilities\nCollaborate with warehouse operations to ensure the security of high-value inventory.\nImplement and manage access control systems to effectively prevent unauthorized entry and theft.\nOversee and support security personnel by providing training materials, coordinating response protocols, and ensuring operational readiness.\nMonitor security staff for professionalism, adherence to grooming and dress code standards, and performance in carrying out assigned responsibilities.\nOperate surveillance systems proactively to detect potential threats and respond promptly to incidents.\nMaintain robust access control procedures, including employee credentialing and visitor verification.\nSupervise overall security operations within the warehouse to ensure a safe and secure working environment.\nDevelop and enforce security policies aligned with industry regulations and standards.\nLead investigations into security incidents, conduct root cause analyses, document findings, and recommend corrective measures to prevent recurrence.\nConduct regular security audits to assess compliance with policies and procedures and suggest improvements to meet DHL Security, STP & TAPA standards.\nPerform security risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and implement mitigation strategies.\nSupport the development and implementation of security protocols and systems across multiple warehouse locations to enhance safety.\nDesign and recommend appropriate security solutions, including CCTV systems, access control, and intrusion detection systems.\nManage the maintenance and performance of all security technologies to ensure comprehensive site protection.\nAdvise on improvements to perimeter security, surveillance coverage, and access control mechanisms.\nRequirements\nDiploma in Security or related disciplines.\nMinimum of 5 years of relevant experience.\nStrong communication skills.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office applications.\nProficiency in Physical Security Systems such as CCTV systems, access control systems, intrusion detection alarm systems, etc.\nWillingness to learn.\nAbility to multi-task and work independently.\nTransported Asset Protection Association (TAPA) Authorised Auditor certification preferred\n\n
