Minimum qualifications: + Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. + 2 years of experience in silicon life-cycle or hardware design life-cycle. + 2 years of experience with security engineering, computer and network security, and security protocols. + 2 years of experience in Verilog/SystemVerilog. Preferred qualifications: + 5 years of experience in software development and security engineering. + Experience with Hardware, Firmware, Systems Programming. + Experience with Hardware System Architecture. + Experience with Software Engineering, Reverse Engineering. + Experience with Risk Assessment, Threat Models. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $141,000-$202,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Scope and deliver comprehensive security reviews of hardware/firmware components. + Develop and refine threat models, risk assessments, and define security requirements for hardware products entering Google’s data centers. + Design and engineer the necessary security controls for identified threats and risks. + Provide subject matter expertise to Platforms Infrastructure Engineering (PIE) teams designing and developing the next generation data center hardware.
