Job Overview: The Security Architect Lead reporting to the AVP of Security Architecture is a role that has direct responsibility for designing/architecting IT security solutions, leading operational security activities, serving as an expert in cybersecurity protection, detection, response, and recovery activities, and being able to lead Cyber Incident Response activities. Take direction from the AVP security architecture to provide expert technical support. Qualifications: Required: + Associate s degree in Cybersecurity + Minimum of 3 years of experience performing intelligence analysis, collection management, and technical analysis. + Knowledge of current cyber threat actors, APTs, and the MITRE ATT&CK and NIST Frameworks. + Working understanding of Software Development Lifecyle and Secure Coding Practices. Preferred: + Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity desired (7 years of experience may be substituted for degree). + Seven (7) years experience in managing security architecture projects. Certifications and Licenses: + One or more certifications desired: CISSP, GCIH, CCNA, C|EH, CISA, GPEN, CHFI Scheduling Requirements: + Full-time + Day Essential Functions: + Strong command of cybersecurity organization practices, operations risk management processes, principles, architectural requirements, engineering threats and vulnerabilities, including incident response methodologies. + Cybersecurity expert, keeping technical skills current and participating in multiple security forums and communities. + Understanding of technologies and be an SME in Cloud Security architecture. + Experience in SIEM, IPS, IDS, NAC, Threat Assessments. + Threat Modeling: Experience in threat modeling and risk assessment methodologies. + Secure Coding Practices: Understanding of secure coding practices and common vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP Top Ten). + Tools and Technologies: Familiarity with security tools (e.g., static and dynamic analysis tools, vulnerability scanners). + Ability to assess the current environment and design an architecture including diagrams and documentation. + Experience in leading and managing information security teams. + Experience in leading critical cybersecurity areas including: cyber incident response, disaster recovery, cybersecurity monitoring, remediation and information governance. + Ability to operate in a dynamic environment with the ability to respond and react decisively in a changing set of circumstances and priorities.
