The **Security Analyst Level III – Special Security Office (SSO) Specialist** will support implementation of procedures and requirements of the DoD Personnel Security Program, to include assisting in administering the supported Agency’s Personnel Security System IAW DoD Manual 5200-02 and current guidance from DCSA, Office of Personnel Management (OPM), and the Office of the Director for National Intelligence (ODNI). The **SSO** will assist in the management and implementation of the Defense Special Security System for the supported Agency IAW Intelligence Community Directive 705, DoD Manual 5105.21, DoD Manual 5200.02, and the Technical Specifications for the Construction and Management of SCIFs. **Responsibilities** + Assist with technical and programmatic issues related to Agency SCIFs, such as facility construction and modifications, alarms, access control, power failure, equipment changes, general maintenance, and periodic inspections. + Provide access control to Agency SCIFs, as needed, and validate clearance and access for all persons entering accredited facilities. Process visitors IAW current regulations and policy, maintain visitor logs, issue access badges, and assign escorts. + Conduct in and out processing for military and civilian personnel. Conduct, document, and archive debriefings as required. + Conduct indoctrination training briefings, periodic refresher briefings, and debriefings. + Support the DoD Consolidated Adjudications Facility as required when the Agency receives a request for additional information, follow-on subject interviews, or supplementary documentation on subject actions + Other duties as assigned **Qualifications** + High School diploma or GED equivalent + BS/BA degree in a security-related discipline is preferred. + 8+ years working on missile defense-related or other complex, large DoD program/project + Works independently and/or leads sub-teams to analyze and resolve problems + TS with SCI eligibility **Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:** + Familiarity with DOD and MDA processes and procedures. + Previous experience in DOD security or DOD intelligence is desired. + Proficient with Microsoft software applications. + Travel: ability to travel 0-5% to CONUS and OCONUS locations. + Ability to work nights, weekends, and Holidays as required **How you’ll grow** At Chenega MIOS, our professional development plan focuses on helping our team members at every level of their careers to identify and use their strengths to do their best work every day.
