Security Advisor South (Karachi Based)- Security
**Job Purpose** The Pakistan Security Advisor South is the subject-matter-expert regarding Weatherford’s security management systems and programs within the assigned area. This role ensures all Weatherford (WFRD) security policies, standards, and business practices, in alignment with client contractual security policies, are executed to provide a secure working and living environment for all Weatherford employees, clients and Third-Party Workers (TPW) and any other person that falls under Weatherford’s remit for duty of care. The Pakistan Security Advisor South is responsible for implementing and managing department’s objectives throughout Karachi, Sindh, and Baluchistan Provinces. They oversee and manage department risk strategies in the south of Pakistan, aligned with Weatherford’s security best practices to mitigate risks and best achieve both protective and economic advantage for the company. The Pakistan Security Advisor South supports and reports directly to the Area Security Manager, Pakistan, ensuring flawless execution of security vertical objectives and planning. **Responsibilities** + Conduct responsibilities associated with Global Security Risk Area Program (RAP) namely but not limited to; Security Risk Management (SRM), and Security Risk Assessments (SRA) as defined in the Organizational Security Business Practice. + As defined by RAP, conduct internal security audits and reviews of all WFRD locations in Sindh and Baluchistan, including HAZMAT locations, rig sites, non-rig sites, base camps, construction sites and staff houses. + Liaison with client security/police/Frontier Constabulary/security companies for all movement in the field. + Recording all data on all pending cases of Security Clearances. + Maintain updated record of access control cards issued to all WFRD employees /visitors. + Address all security related matters in the South in the absence of Area Security Manager. (ASM) + Implement Standard Operating Procedures. + Conduct Intelligence gathering and information analysis. + Client engagement in Karachi and the field is regular and relevant. + Thorough awareness of all WFRD sites across Sindh and Baluchistan. + Complete accurate daily Personnel on Board (POB) reporting systems for all locations. + Provide oversight management for all third-party security sub-contractors and their security provisions inclusive but not limited to; license to operate, movement permissions, risk register and response plans. **Skills** + Strong strategic, tactical, and analytical thinking and a major breadth and depth of experience in Security. + Presence, confidence, and gravitas in front of peers. + Fluency in Urdu and English language. (Written & verbal) + Physical ability and willingness to respond to emergency situations. **Qualification** + Oil and Gas, energy sector experience is favorable. + Previous experience in security roles at leadership levels and the military as an officer. + Basic document construction and industry auditing standards. + Intermediate skills at using Microsoft Office suite. + Comprehensive knowledge of Security Risk Management. + Detailed knowledge and experience of physical, personnel and technical security.
