Securitized Products - Esoteric Origination

Join us as a Securitized Products - Esoteric Origination VP. At Barclays, our vision is clear –to redefine the future of banking and help craft innovative solutions. In this role, you will conduct in-depth financial evaluation and modeling to support deal structuring and execution, performing detailed industry and market research to inform strategy and positioning, and related transaction materials. You will also coordinate multi-layered internal and external processes tied to capital markets transactions ensuring all workstreams are aligned and progressing efficiently. This role requires a foundation in structured finance, and the ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights for both internal stakeholders and external clients.

To be successful as a Securitized Products - Esoteric Origination VP, you should have:

Solid understanding of various financial instruments, securitized products, and the broader financial market

Proficiency with Bloomberg, CAS, and SEI systems

Experience in financial analysis and modeling

SIE, Series 63, and Series 79 licenses

Willingness to travel up to 15% for collaboration

This role is located in our New York, New York office. 

This role is FINRA regulated.

Minimum Salary: $150,000
Maximum Salary: $250,000

The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above include only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.

Purpose of the role

To raise capital and manage the financial risk of clients, including financial advisory services, identification and origination of market opportunities, research, economic analysis. 

Accountabilities

Identification and cultivation of relationships with potential clients, including corporations, institutions, or government entities.Market research and analysis to identify industry trends, potential deal opportunities, and client needs.Collaboration with internal teams to develop pitch materials, financial models, and presentations for client meetings and transactions.Structuring and execution of deals, including mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and strategic advisory services.Due diligence process coordination, timeline management, and liaising between various stakeholders involved in transactions.
