The Securities Services Operations Associate is a part of the Trust Operations team that assists in the funding and transfer of funds to support foreign trading for our Settlements department. Within the Settlements and Trust Operations environment, you will evaluate and process requests for ingoing and outgoing transfers of funds for our Institutional Custody, Capital Markets and Corporate Trust internal and external partners .
You will be responsible for compiling and recording USD funding to ensure accounts have sufficient funds to trade. This position also assists clients or internal partners with any questions and issues they may face while creating an unparalleled client experience. You will also be cross trained amongst other team member responsibilities for team back-up when needed. You can expect a fast-paced environment with unpredictable scenarios while maintaining flexibility and adaptability to client needs. Securities Services Operations Associates each have a specific and impactful function for our clients and UMB to ensure accurate process requests. The Trust Operations team are subject matter experts that assist to reconcile and transfer funds in and out of accounts.
The Trust Operations team is about creating strong connections amongst its associates to develop and maintain a positive working experience. You are valued for who you are in a fun, professional setting. It is a smaller team that works closely together to ensure everyone is successful. Associates are supported and encouraged to work with their manager to develop roadmaps for opportunity within Operations and beyond.
**How you’ll spend your time:**
+ You will use problem solving skills to determine what action needs to be taken to ensure money markets are transferred to the correct accounts and organizations.
+ You will need strong communication skills to make a positive client experience.
+ You will need to have strong attention to detail to ensure correct funds are transferred into correct accounts.
+ You will perform a variety of processing, data entry, moderately complex financial calculations, and clerical duties related to securities and cash transactions for investors.

+ 2 years of financial services experience OR Associates Degree
OR Bachelors Degree
**Compensation Range:**
$29,530.00 - $56,950.00
