Job Description
An employer is looking for a Transition Manager. In this role, the individual engages with project managers to ensure the smooth transition of IT services to operations, analyzing each service in the delivery pipeline to confirm operational support capabilities. They conduct transition meetings with stakeholders and advise program offices, service delivery managers, and project managers on necessary steps. Collaborating with user experience managers, they ensure timely advertising of new services. They drive continuous process improvement for service execution, fulfillment, and delivery, supporting quality management across all teams and work centers, including managed print services. They provide onsite support to work centers, assist in identifying and solving negative service trends, and support the development and maintenance of the company's Service Catalog. Additionally, they coordinate Quality of Service initiatives, support special projects, develop ITSM service request templates, and engage stakeholders to ensure the Service Catalog is user-friendly. They also assist in developing and executing training programs for both the Service Catalog and Service Fulfillment to ensure customer and technician proficiency.
Compensation:
$65/hr to $72/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements
Secret Clearance
BA/BS degree and 8 12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6 10 years of prior relevant experience additional years of experience may be used in lieu of degree.
Previous experience working with senior leadership and operations to manage projects from cradle to grave Two years of experience in quality assurance and/or process improvement.
Exposure to BMC Remedy and its Digital Workplace Catalog.
Prior experience working in the National Capital Region
Prior experience developing/maintaining a Service Catalog.
Familiarity with the Headquarters Air Force staff organization.
Experience with Service Now with Service Now/Remedy migration a plus.
One or more of the following within 6 months after starting: Continuous Process Improvement certification or executive course, Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundations certification, Project Management Professional certification. null
