Job Description The role of an Install Technician III plays a pivotal role in the successful installation and implementation of security systems, ensuring that our clients' needs are met with the highest level of quality and professionalism. This person will be a lead/mentor to junior installers, and might have more interaction with the customer. THIS POSITION REQUIRES A SECRET CLEARANCE! - Installation lead, configure, and maintain a wide range of security systems, including access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and other security technologies. - Proficiently run and terminate low-voltage cabling, ensuring that all installations adhere to industry standards and best practices. - Integrate and troubleshoot various security system components to ensure they function as a cohesive unit, offering clients a comprehensive security solution. - Configure and program security equipment, such as cameras, access control panels, and alarms, according to project specifications and customer requirements. - Perform system tests and inspections to ensure the installed systems operate efficiently and meet quality standards. - Maintain accurate and detailed records of all installation activities, including wiring diagrams, configuration settings, and project documentation. - Provide training and technical support to clients on system operation and functionality, addressing any concerns and ensuring customer satisfaction.
