Job Description We are seeking a dynamic and experienced SecOps Manager to lead our growing Security Operations team. This role is pivotal in ensuring our organization's security posture, focusing primarily on Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC). The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading and developing security teams, with the ability to manage investigations and incident responses when necessary. This person will lead and develop a small but expanding SecOps team, currently consisting of four members including a project manager. Oversee and enhance GRC processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Manage security incidents and investigations, providing strategic direction and oversight. Collaborate with development teams to integrate security into the design and development of products. Utilize red team tools and methodologies to proactively identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities. Ensure seamless replication of core data from AWS to Azure, supporting our transition to a Kubernetes-based infrastructure. Engage with clients, confidently presenting security solutions and managing RFPs. Drive continuous improvement in security practices and team capabilities. Skills and Requirements Experience: Several years of experience leading and developing security teams in large organizations or currently serving as a lead looking to step into a managerial role. Technical Skills: Proficiency in AWS and Azure, container technologies (ECS), and CrowdStrike. GRC Expertise: Strong background in Governance, Risk, and Compliance. Client Interaction: Proven ability to engage with clients, manage RFPs, and present security solutions. Incident Management: Experience in overseeing security investigations and incident responses. Red Team Tools: Familiarity with red team methodologies and tools. Presentation Skills: Experience in delivering presentations to large audiences (50+ people). Governmental Agencies: Experience working with governmental agencies.
