Salary: £26,000-£29,000 per annum

A high-achieving and inclusive secondary school in Camden is offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic graduate to join their team as a Secondary Graduate Teaching Assistant from September 2025.

This full-time role is ideal for aspiring secondary school teachers who are looking to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, supportive school setting before pursuing teacher training or further qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide academic support across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 in your subject specialism
* Deliver one-to-one and small group intervention sessions to help raise attainment
* Support teachers in lesson planning and classroom delivery
* Assist in managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a focused learning environment
* Help students with varying needs, including those with SEN or EAL requirements
* Get involved in enrichment activities, clubs, and whole-school events

Person Specification:
* A 2:1 or above from a Russell Group university (subjects such as English, maths, science, humanities or languages preferred)
* A strong interest in secondary education and a desire to train as a teacher in the future
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* A proactive, adaptable, and resilient approach to supporting young people
* Previous experience working with teenagers (e.g. tutoring, mentoring, youth work) is advantageous
