Job Title: GNL Part-Time Seasonal Production TechCompany: WJBF NewsChannel 6 (A Nexstar Media Group Station)Location: Augusta, GA (Travel to various high school football stadiums each Friday) Key Responsibilities:• Load and unload production equipment at each remote location• Run and secure audio and video cables between cameras and the production trailer• Take direction from the director and other technical crew during live broadcasts• Assist with camera operations: positions may be on the field (handheld camera) or atop the press box (tripod-mounted)• May be assigned to support audio setup, monitoring, or live graphics• Travel with the crew using station vehicles to different high school football stadiums each Friday• Work outdoors for extended periods in all weather conditionsRequirements:• Must be available every Friday from August 9 through November 1• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs of equipment• Comfortable working outdoors and at various locations• Strong communication skills and the ability to take direction in high-pressure environments• Punctual, dependable, and a team player• Prior production or event experience is a plus, but not required—training providedAdditional Details:• Approx. 12–15 hours each Friday• Transportation to/from each location is provided by the station• Ideal for students, freelancers, or those looking to build a career in broadcast media Nexstar Media Group, Inc.
