Lead, Packing

Schedule: Friday - Sunday; 7am - 7:30pm

Base Pay: $18.95/hr

What will you do?

A day in the life of a Packing Lead at VF looks a little like this.

Under the general direction of the shift supervisor, this person will be an active leader for employees. The Packing lead will assist the supervisor in the execution of facility operations to meet production within their department to reach operational goals. 

Let’s break down that day-in-the-life a bit more.

Leading, communicating, coaching, and motivating, individuals and the shift team to meet and/or exceed day-to-day quality, efficiency, and organizations objectives.Monitoring and assisting associates performing a variety of duties related to warehousing, transportation, safety and inventory functions in the warehouse.

What do you need to succeed?

The foundation skills you will need in this position are:

High School Diploma or EquivalentMinimum of 2 years related to production, warehouse and/or distribution center environment.  Ability to interact well with all levels of employees. Detailed oriented, organized, and effective at time management.  Demonstrated ability to work with minimal direction. Excellent oral/written communication skills in English Computer knowledge and experience using RF scanners.Must have the ability to lift items up to 50 lbs.  Must be able to work overtime and on opposing shifts as assigned; may be called on off hours.Ability to stand for entire shift and walk around the warehouse.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English.

 There are also a few skills that are not required but preferred.

Familiarization with PKMS system.

Hiring Range:

$18.00 USD - $22.50 USD per hour
