Seasonal HR Recruiter
DC-New Lenox The Recruiting Coordinator is responsible for providing overall administrative support to the recruiting process. + Coordinating and scheduling candidate travel and interviews. + Developing and maintaining relationships with outside staffing agencies to build temporary applicant pool for roles enterprise-wide. + Coordinating temporary staff sourcing, offers and on-boarding. + Managing new team member on-boarding process; including orientation schedules and reporting, and process new hire set up paperwork. + Working with HR partners, payroll and departments across the organization to ensure new hires are properly set up and on-boarded. + Managing the Employee Referral Program. + Generating and maintaining regular reporting. + Overseeing department budget and invoicing. + Other duties as assigned **Minimum Special Certifications or Technical Skills** + Strong Excel, basic Access and Microsoft office software skills **Minimum Type of Experience the Job Requires** + 1-3 years’ experience in a human resource function, including recruitment and hiring **Other** + General knowledge of employment laws and regulations + Strong organizational and interpersonal skills **Preferred Education** + Some college education preferred; or significant work experience required **Applicants in the U.S. must satisfy federal, state, and local legal requirements of the job.** At The Michaels Companies Inc, **our purpose is to fuel the joy of creativity** .
