Job Description
Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Operator to support cotton seed delinting operations. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing facility and be trained in OSHA safety protocols. This is a hands-on role in an industrial agricultural setting where safety, efficiency, and attention to detail are essential.

Key Responsibilities:Operate and monitor cotton delinting and ginning equipment safely and efficientlyEnsure raw cotton seed is cleaned and prepared to meet planting specificationsPerform thorough cleaning of equipment and facility between seed batches to prevent contaminationConduct pH testing and assist with seed quality control processesFollow strict safety guidelines including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and confined space protocolsWork at heights and use ladders when needed

Work Experience
Requirements:Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environmentOSHA training required (including LOTO and general safety practices)Ability to pass a drug screen and maintain a clean-shaven face for PPE complianceClean background check (7-year review)Comfortable working in confined spaces and at heightsStrong attention to safety, quality, and detailPreferred Experience (Bonus Points):Prior agricultural or seed handling experienceFamiliarity with confined space entry proceduresExperience with equipment sanitation and cross-contamination prevention
