Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a SDS Site Manager 2.  This position will be located in Promontory, UT. 

 What You’ll Get To Do: 

Primary responsibilities are the management of cost, schedule, and technical performance of company programs or facilities and include, but are not limited to: 

Cultivating customer relationships and intimacy to develop further opportunities within the customer communityLeads all Propulsion Systems Division (PSD) safety review boards on behalf of Strategic deterrent Systems (SDS) DivisionLeads all internal SDS Segment and Element team familiarization tours of the facilitiesEstablishing a missile integration and ground test risk-reduction program that effectively addresses customer requirements and incorporates the necessary internal customersLeading and integrate cross-functional resident Strategic Deterrent Division (SDS) teams to meet program milestonesMeasuring and reporting site conflicts and performance concernsDelivering presentations to customers, executive management, and other program stakeholdersDevelopment and adherence to budget baselines utilizing Earned Value Management (EVM) or similar cost & schedule control methodologies and tools for various funding methodsIdentifying, allocating, and managing program resources, including workforce planningManaging Government/customer/NG assets or information (GFE, CFE, etc.)Adherence to all internal processes, policies, and applicable industry standardsConducting thorough risk & opportunity management practices including identification, mitigation, and realization for off-site operationsPrepare briefings on status/progress and processes at the Site; present in the appropriate cadences to ensure stakeholder awareness among Executive leadership.Help develop and shape additional programs/processes to improve the overall Employee ExperienceDrive Digital Transformation initiativesCoordinate physical space/footprint options for near term accommodations and long-term growth, including security, and potential payload processing facility

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package. 

You’ll Bring These Qualifications: 

Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of related experience or an additional 4 years of related experience in lieu of degree1+ years of experience leading a project and/or driving performance again scheduleExperience supporting U.S. Government contracts and customers and intimate knowledge of production and ground test operationsU.S. Citizen with an active clearance Top Secret clearance and ability to attain special program access (SAP)Experience managing facilities related to missile integration and ground test

Experience working with propulsion systems within Northrop GrummanProject Management Professional (PMP) certificationExperience supporting/leading distinguished visitor (DV) toursFacility contracting and management, including leaseDetailed and team oriented with demonstrated leadership and organization skillsAbility to manage communications with stakeholders through organized processes to ensure that program information is defined, collected, shared, and understood in a manner that effectively meets program and stakeholder needs.Experience in leading cross-functional project teams.Proven ability to lead high performing teams with evidence of being able to create trusted relationships, and an inclusive work environment that attracts, retain, and inspire diverse and engaged teamsDemonstrated ability to facilitate, lead and brief large groups of internal and external customersEffectively develop business cases, briefings, and communication – both written and verbal – at a senior leadership level to inform and drive decisions.

Salary Range: $111,700.00 - $167,500.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
