Northrop Grumman Defense Systems has an open opportunity for the Strategic Deterrent Systems Division, Digital Ecosystem, Digital Thread and Intelligence Solutions Director 1 (Director Programs 1) as a critical direct report to the Digital Ecosystem Segment Vice President. This position may be located in Roy, UT, Manhattan Beach, CA, Colorado Springs, CO, Huntsville, AL, or Melbourne, FL. The Sentinel program modernizes nearly every facet of the land leg of the nuclear triad. The Digital Ecosystem (DE) provides critical infrastructure, tools, data analytics, and cyber security of the Sentinel Weapon System development environment.
The DE Digital Thread and Intelligence Solutions (DTIS) element is responsible for providing digital thread and intelligence solutions for the following: Sentinel Digital Thread, Test Data Management System development, Common Product Life Cycle Management tool integration and support, Division data analytics, AI technologies, and implementation of the Division Data Strategy. The DTIS Director will be accountable for every aspect of program execution and performance for the DTIS team and serves an integral role in cultivating the customer relationship and shaping team culture. The DTIS Director will determine strategic priorities, align the solution teams’ business rhythm to the Segment, and is accountable for the overall execution of the DTIS element including software development, internal and external suppliers, and collaboration with DE systems engineering, integration and test element. The DTIS director will work closely with other Segment and functional leadership to ensure required staffing, processes and infrastructure are available to efficiently execute the contract.
Sentinel DTIS Director responsibilities include:
Integrated program performance management (cost, schedule, technical, risk & opportunity, quality) to deliver on all contract and AOP/LRSP commitmentsDay to day contractual and programmatic change managementDTIS element demand planning (staffing, infrastructure, clearances, etc.)DTIS element approach to supplier management to strengthen partnerships and drive performance as applicableCultivate supplier and program / functional teammate relationships at an executive level to ensure team performanceSupport to strategic planning and professional development / organization efficiency initiativesA successful candidate in this role will demonstrate:

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Salary Range: $187,700.00 - $325,900.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
