- Team is a Delivery experience QA team
- Self owns customer facing pages.
- They are the QA team to support testing any of the newer features, migration, or applications that are being performed on those pages. Also, the services that are performed on those pages.
- QA team has BOTH QAE & SDET’s
- QA’s work on the functional testing part of it. The manual test plan creation, test execution, making sure feature is being manually tested.
- SDET’s are trying to find opportunities to automate them so they can scale the testing efforts and reduce the manual efforts that they are testing any of the features.
- Will be part of the SDET group – where they will work on building frameworks, onboarding services to amazon proprietor frameworks for any of the shadow testing, and make sure they have good test coverage across their services.
- Work on solving some problems with the test data that the QA’s may have, doing the testing.
- Build tools on platforms such as Native & AWS – then using the services so they have a way to use the customer orders for internal testing.
- Stripping out all of the confidential of the information.
- Contractor joining team will be working with SDET group to work on any of the initiatives with the team.
- They are expected to work on operational excellence (tickets, adding to security risk, making sure rules/frameworks are up to date for Policies)
