The Core Engineering team at eero is looking for an Android developer to develop and maintain our mobile application, which acts as the primary interface for our customers to set up and manage their WiFi networks. You will work with cross-functional teams in a fast environment to build new experiences and maintain the high quality bar throughout our android application.
Key job responsibilities
- Lead projects and collaborate across Product, Design, QA, and Engineering to build new and innovative application experiences for the Android platform.
- Shape our product vision and build exciting business and customer facing Android features.
- Enhance and optimize existing software components to improve reliability, scalability, and flexibility.
- Diagnose and fix customer-facing issues in our production applications.
- Provide mentorship to other engineers and help change development processes to increase developer productivity and project predictability.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 4+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 3+ years of Android development experience
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building native android applications in Kotlin
