Job Description

We are looking for an experienced, solid and pragmatic Scrum Master who would like to work in a challenging and international environment to enable the bank in providing relevant financial services to our clients. You will be a part of Origination & Assessments Area of W&R Financing Journey tribe of the Rabobank. The area contributes to development and maintenance of a number existing and yet to be built applications involved in Wholesale & Rural Sustainability Journey. The tools support over 15000 clients and 2000 users globally, and facilitate a range of processes, including:

Determining compliance with Rabobank’s sustainability policies

Assessing sustainability performance

Gathering insights to support client engagement

Performing climate and environmental risk assessment

As a scrum master you will work closely with two squads, and you will contribute to the scrum activities on the area level. You are very interested in business process ,functional and non-functional requirement specification and have a strongly pro-active and communicative attitude on multiple levels. You will support the squads in compliance and security deliverables, within and beyond the Mendix application environment. You will facilitate collaboration with other squads, particularly in areas such as technical support, integrations, and DevOps operations. You’ll be overseeing on daily basis the activities within the squads, overseeing and improving the way of working and collaboration between the squads, striving to timely and high-quality delivery. You will drive the activities around the incident and change management and coordinating the release cycle. And as a scrum master you will be helping your colleagues to perform their activities by organising and leading the squads accordingly to agile (scrum) but also pragmatic way of working.

As a Scrum Master you can make a difference: In providing improvements for the way the squads are working

Helping in resolving different impediments occurring in the squads;

In capturing and drafting priorities for non-functional requirements together with the product owner;

Proactively seeking to understand the technical details and exact requirements from the security and compliance teams;

Helping and coaching the team members of your own squad according to agile way of working;

You are the first responsible for creating a collaborative and productive working atmosphere and healthy team dynamics;

You coach your team members in their daily activities and your goal is to improve the team’s maturity;

You are in the lead for coordinating & planning all deploys/releases and you will coach the squads in organising these activities within the squads;

You help with coordination of the handling of production incidents;

Together with the product owner and your team you will work on planning and roadmap of the squad activities; In contributing in your team by doing other tasks from a T-shape perspective;

You work together with your squads towards compliant and secure applications;

In addition, it's important that you recognize everything in the checklist below:

Minimum bachelor level;

Certified as Agile professional

Knowledge and experience with working in Scrum, Agile, Lean and DevOps projects;

Experience with working in a dynamic international environment;

Working experience in multi-cultural teams;

Analytical mind-set able to continuously improve services;

At least 1 year experience with system support in production environment and dealing with user organization;

At least 3 years of experience with DevOps teams (as developer, tester or BA) and 2 years of being a scrum master;

Experience with security and compliance aspects of system development and maintenance

Knowledge of Rabobank Corporate Banking products and end-to-end processes is preferred;

Knowledge of the IT-landscape within Rabobank Corporate Banking is appreciated;

Programming experience and knowledge of Mendix or other low code, BPM tools is much appreciated;
