Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to lead Agile practices and support software development within our Shipping domain. This role requires strong collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery of high-quality software in alignment with business goals.
As a Scrum Master, you will facilitate Agile ceremonies, remove impediments, and coach team members in Agile practices. In addition, you will collaborate with developers and product owners to ensure our shipping solutions are well-integrated, resilient, and scalable—supporting CI/CD and modern application development frameworks.
Responsibilities:
+ Facilitate Agile ceremonies (Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives) and guide the team on Scrum practices.
+ Support the product team in defining clear and actionable user stories.
+ Promote continuous improvement and foster a culture of transparency, collaboration, and accountability.
+ Remove obstacles that impact team progress and performance.
+ Monitor sprint progress using appropriate tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
+ Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and operations teams to ensure effective delivery pipelines and deployment strategies.
+ Encourage and drive DevOps practices, including continuous integration, continuous delivery, and automation.
+ Support deployment and post-production monitoring of software to ensure functionality and performance.
+ Work closely with stakeholders and other Scrum Masters to ensure alignment across teams.
+ Stay current with Agile trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve team performance.
Job Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
+ Proven experience as a Scrum Master, preferably within an SAP or logistics/shipping environment.
+ Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum principles.
+ Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
+ Experience supporting software development life cycle (SDLC) processes, especially within CI/CD and DevOps environments.
+ Scrum Master certification (e.g., CSM, PSM) is highly desirable.
+ Familiarity with cloud-native architectures and modern application development frameworks is a plus.
+ Comfortable facilitating cross-functional collaboration in a complex, enterprise environment.
+ Preferred Experience:
+ Experience with DevOps tools and practices (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes).
+ Knowledge of shipping logistics systems and/or integration with SAP.
+ Background in software engineering or systems design is advantageous.
