Allegion is seeking a seasoned Scrum Master/Project Manager to lead and coordinate software development activities for our global Zentra teams. In this dynamic role, you will facilitate effective communication and collaboration across geographically distributed teams, guiding them in Agile principles and Scrum ceremonies. As a servant leader, you will foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement, driving productivity and quality in delivery. Responsibilities include monitoring project progress, managing risks and dependencies, and coordinating cross-functional activities to achieve project objectives. Strong relationship-building skills are essential to foster trust and alignment across diverse teams. Your expertise in Agile and project management tools such as GitHub, JIRA, MS Project, and Smartsheet will be crucial in managing backlogs, tracking progress, and enhancing efficiency and transparency.
What you’ll do:
Work with teams geographically ranging from all US continental time zones to India time zone, meaning off hours meetings.Coordinate software development dependencies between the US and India teams, and drive the dependencies to resolution with tenacity.Expert and integrating agile software development with waterfall manufacturing deliverables.Doing what it takes to make the team successful, sometimes by representing missing roles.Lead and facilitate Scrum ceremonies (Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Retrospectives, and Sprint Reviews) for multiple teams, ensuring adherence to Agile principles and practices.Act as a servant leader and coach to Agile teams, promoting collaboration, accountability, and self-organization.Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing team performance and identifying opportunities to enhance productivity and delivery quality.Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and escalating risks, dependencies, and issues.Coordinate cross-functional team dependencies to achieve project objectives, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.Communicate project progress, risks, and dependencies to leadership, providing clear and actionable insights.Act as a liaison between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring transparency and shared understanding of priorities.Implement strategies to overcome challenges specific to distributed teams, such as asynchronous communication and virtual collaboration.Ensure all items on the deployment checklist are thoroughly reviewed, validated, and completed prior to deployment to guarantee a smooth and error-free release.Utilize Agile tools such as Azure DevOps (ADO), GitHub, and/or JIRA to manage backlogs, track progress, and report on key metrics.Working knowledge of utilizing Project Management Tools like MS Project, SmartsheetIdentify opportunities to improve processes and workflows, leveraging Agile and project management tools to enhance efficiency and transparency.Mentor Developers, Verification Engineers, Product Owners, and other team members on Agile best practices.Provide guidance on Agile principles and project management methodologies, fostering a mindset of continuous learning and adaptability.Support teams in identifying and resolving impediments, encouraging ownership and problem-solving.What you need to succeed:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Advanced Certified Scrum Master (A-CSM), or equivalent experience preferredProject Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification is a plus.7+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Project Manager, with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects in Agile environments, Waterfall and Hybrid environments.Demonstrated experience working with global teams in distributed environments, managing cross-functional collaboration across multiple time zones.Hands-on experience with Agile tools such as Azure DevOps (ADO), GitHub, and/or JIRA for backlog management, reporting, and workflow optimization.What you’ll get from us:

The expected Base Salary Range: $67,900 - $120,100.
