Summary:
Consolidated Electrical Distributors, Inc. is looking for a facilitative servant leader to serve as a Scrum Master for 1 or 2 software development teams. The Scrum Master will help the team understand Scrum theory and practice. The ideal candidate will do this with the end goal of helping teams provide valuable and timely improvements to software used by our employees and customers.
Reports to: Agile Coach
Minimum Qualifications:
+ Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification
+ 3+ years in a Scrum Master role
+ Excellent oral and written communication skills to interact effectively with various teams and management groups
+ Proven ability as a persuasive leader and change agent in teams
+ In-depth experience with Agile planning tools and metrics, such as Azure DevOps, burndown charts, cycle time and velocity
+ Ability to be conversant with technology used by the team
+ Comprehensive knowledge and experience working with Scrum and Kanban teams
+ Experience in fostering team accountability through clear commitments, ownership of outcomes and continuous feedback loops.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Familiarity with enterprise resource planning systems
+ Experience in fast-paced, operationally critical environments
+ Strong servant leadership and adaptability
+ Willingness to take initiative
Working Conditions:
This job operates in a professional office environment and extensively uses computer equipment and will require onsite availability 4 days a week.

Essential Job Functions:
+ Promote Agile practices within 1–2 teams by proactively guiding Scrum adoption and encouraging collaboration and continuous improvement
+ Ensure Scrum events are timeboxed, focused, and deliver productive outcomes
+ Facilitate retrospectives that drive actionable improvements using Agile metrics and team feedback
+ Leverage key Agile metrics (e.g., velocity, cycle time, burndown) to identify trends, guide team improvements, and support data-driven decisions
+ Track and communicate team progress through concise reporting of metrics to stakeholders and leadership
+ Proactively remove impediments , coordinating with stakeholders to prevent blockers
+ Shield the team from distractions , asserting team priorities to maintain focus and flow
+ Support the Product Owner in data-driven product planning for complex environments
+ Coach team members on Agile principles through concise, practical guidance and facilitation
+ Foster an Agile mindset and reinforce a culture of accountability, learning, and positive change
+ Stay current on Agile trends to introduce tools and practices that enhance team performance
