Emerson is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Scrum Master to support and guide agile development teams working on embedded systems and new product development initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of agile principles, proven experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies, and the ability to work optimally with cross-functional hardware-software teams in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment. Passionate about the Fisher branded line of products, this position is part of our Final Control business unit, a leader in optimizing process operations around the world known for our technical expertise and performance and reliability of products.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Support backlog grooming and sprint prioritization to deliver high-value features aligned with product and business goals. Remove team impediments and foster a culture of continuous improvement and high performance. Promote transparency through appropriate metrics (e.g., burndown charts, velocity tracking, capacity planning) and reporting mechanisms. Facilitate coordination across multiple teams (firmware, electronics, mechanical, software), helping to align software and hardware development cycles. Serve as a coach and mentor to teams on Agile and Scrum standard methodologies, ensuring alignment to Agile principles while adapting to the needs of embedded systems development.Who You Are:

For This Role, You Will Need:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field. 5+ years of proven experience working in Agile software or embedded systems development Facilitation, mentor, and conflict-resolution skills. Experience with Agile tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, or equivalent. Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills. Legal authorization to work in the United States – sponsorship will not be provided for this positionPreferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or equivalent Agile certification. 5+ proven years of experience as a Scrum Master, preferably in embedded systems or hardware/software co-development environments. Exposure to systems engineering practices, V-model, or hybrid agile-waterfall models. Background in product development within industries such as automotive, medical devices, industrial automation, or consumer electronics.
