We are seeking an experienced and motivated Scrum Master to join our Agile team. The Scrum Master will play a key role in facilitating Agile practices and ensuring the success of our projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Agile methodologies and excellent leadership and communication skills.

Position Responsibilities:

Supports 1-2 teams on a single backlog (AMSor PSS)Experience being on multiple Scrum teams in a variety of different contexts (different team sizes, different projects, different cultures, co-located vs. distributed, etc).Coaches different levels of hierarchy through agile principles & practices Conducts Agile Events, including sprint planning, daily stand ups, sprint reviews and retrospectivesEducates the squads on the adoption of Agile practices and identifies Agile Team improvement opportunities.Focuses squads on value creationIdentifies obstacles to team/s performance; facilitates resolution and escalates where necessaryActively participates in sprints and partners with Product Owners to enable the delivery of prioritized featuresReinforces target agile behaviorsActs as a servant leader to the team (not the ‘boss’)Proactively provides real-time feedback to keep delivery on track and address issues as they ariseMember of the Scrum Master's CommunityRepresents Manulife values without failFacilitates and actively participates in MITDC LACE Agile events, CoP's, workshops and townhallsIdentifies obstacles to team performance ;facilitates resolution and escalates where necessaryImplements to squad teams project initiated by the LACE team

Required Qualifications:

At least 3-5 years experience as a Scrum Master delivering complex technology solutions with a University Degree or College diplomaITCF RoleIntermediate Scrum MasterStrong working knowledge of key aspects of roleStaying abreast of developments in own technical discipline and able to recognize and translate these to own working environmentPossesses analytical skills and appreciates complex situations but only able to achieve partial resolutionAny of the following will be an advantage:SAFe Certifications (Leading SAFe ,Advanced SM, RTE)PMP certificationsScrum Master CertificationInsurance Industry experienceITIL CertificationWorking knowledge of business intelligence, business process, and/ correspondence management platforms and integrating systems via API/webservices.Knowledge of Agile planning and tracking toolsGood verbal and written communication; able to effectively articulate technical vision, possibilities, and outcomes
