The Scroll eCompressor Mechanical engineer will be mainly responsible for the mechanical structure design of the scroll compressor, selects and develops high-strength, wear-resistant materials suitable for scroll compressor applications, ensuring its durability and high efficiency. He/She has rich experience in scroll compressor design, familiar with mechanical processing technology, and material science. And fully understand the properties of metals and non-metals and their applications in compressors.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Lead e-Compressor mechanical structure development and design optimization according to internal and customer specifications.Responsible for design review, drawing release and design change management of 2D/3D/BOM.Responsible for tolerance stack up of e-Compressor components.Responsible for e-Compressor components DVP testsLead design and prototype tasks in e-Compressor development aligned project timing.Lead problem solving during DV/PV phase and analysis of teardown parts.Support test team with validation planSupport SCM with e-Compressor supplier development/APQP.Support new e-Compressor business acquisition.Evaluate feasibility of e-Compressor industrialization, optimize design for manufacturingResponsible for developing e-Compressor mechanical internal design guidelines and standards.Strictly abide the EHS rules and regulations and behavior guide line in the plant; wear PPE in right way; actively participate in EHS training; do housekeeping at work; report accidents and unsafe issues immediately join the accident disposal. Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or studies related (Mechanical design, Mechanical and Automation, Vehicle Engineering, Mechatronics, Thermodynamics).Min 5 years' experience in scroll e-Compressor and core part development in automobile field, min. 3 years as lead designer for e-CompressorKnowledge of e-Compressor key components like scroll/core parts design and manufacturing process, and e-Compressor assembly processFamiliar with DFMEAFamiliar with CAD software: like Catia/CREO and PDM software: like SAP/TC.Familiar with simulation tools and methods, understand simulation report.Familiar with e-Compressor failure mechanism about NVHFamiliar with component manufacturing process, like die casting, mold injection, machining.Know different material characters, like SS, Aluminum, plastic.Internal Use Only: SalaryGlobal Terms of Use and Privacy Statement
