**Description**
JOB SUMMARY:
Supply chain professional with a background in business intelligence, data analysis and process improvement\. The Supply Chain Compliance Specialist is responsible for supporting Supply Chain Management and contract/compliance teams to ensure compliance to supply chain policies and procedures, government regulations, and requirements of industry standards\.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Conduct routine supply chain compliance reviews and report on risks and recommendations
* Responsibilities will also include overseeing the resolution of supplier non\-compliance risks
* Ensure supplier annual assessments \(such as Representations & Certifications\) are managed appropriately including validation of compliance to established procedures
* Supports and validates the accuracy of Supplier data in systems
* Pulls data, gathers information, and reviews processes in support of audits
* Assists in auditing purchase orders and contract documentation packages to ensure compliance with internal processes and FAR/DFAR requirements
* Assists with the production of corrective action reports and manage corrective actions for purchase order and contract documentation audits through completion
* Communicating across functional teams regarding audit findings, regulatory issues and Government Acquisition regulations
* Identify gaps in practices, processes, policies and procedures, and pursue improvement opportunities within the purchasing department
* Support development of policies and procedures as well as monitor existing purchasing processes ensuring compliance with Government \(Federal & Department of Defense \(DoD\)\) regulations and supporting industry best practices
* Support compliance activities associated with all supply chain requirements, including conflict minerals, modern slavery & human trafficking, supply chain sustainability, REACH, and other special projects as required
* Provide purchasing compliance support and guidance to purchasing department
* Assists in training buyers on compliance system policies and procedures, and Government regulations
* Assists in training, testing system, upgrades, and supporting lower\-level support for enhancing solutions to business/systems issues\.
* Updates and maintains supply chain forms\.
* Administrator for SharePoint, adding documents, deleting documents, setting up users, deleting users, and managing groups\.
* Participate in innovative, metric driven processes and projects to achieve operational excellence
**Qualifications**
EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Marketing, or related field
* Experience in managing supplier information, and process improvement preferred
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Understanding of procurement and supply chain management\.
* Strong oral and written skills
* Must be comfortable communicating audit findings to peers and upper management
* Microsoft Suite experience, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel\. In\-depth experience in Excel \(pivot tables, data analysis\)
* Detail\-oriented, excellent organization skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively\.
* Strong ability to apply analytical skills to data and interpret and present findings\.
* Ability to effectively operate both independently and as part of a team
* Demonstrates a general knowledge of techniques for soliciting and gathering information
* Ability to identify and maintain a high degree of confidentiality, when necessary
* USG related purchasing and/or compliance experience preferred
* E\-commerce background is a plus
