You’ll make a difference by:
Coordinating all shipment activities by handling pre-alerts, checking documents for new shipments, and ensuring a seamless process from origin to delivery. Managing the RFQ and purchase order process by handling requests for quotation, creating procurement plans, and generating purchase orders for suppliers. Working with our vendors and brokers to manage accreditation, correspondence, customs duties, and delivery scheduling. Ensuring accurate delivery and fulfillment by providing clear instructions for shipments and tracking them until they are successfully delivered to the customer. Monitoring and reporting on key metrics by maintaining daily updates in our systems and generating regular reports to track performance and efficiency. Providing essential team support by addressing inquiries from sales, coordinating with different departments, and assisting with various administrative tasks.Your defining qualities:
A strong background in both procurement and logistics, with a solid understanding of freight forwarding, customs, and vendor management. A degree in a relevant field, such as Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Economics. 2-5 years of direct experience in Supply Chain Management and Logistics. Basic knowledge of Philippine customs operations and international logistics. Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple complex tasks and deadlines simultaneously. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to work effectively with internal teams, external partners, and customers. Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in handling documents and data. A proactive and resourceful approach to problem-solving and handling unexpected challenges that arise in the supply chain. Proficiency with technology and systems, showing an ability to work with various applications; proficiency in SAP is a distinct advantage.What we offer:
