USSTRATCOM is a Combatant Command responsible for strategic deterrence, nuclear operations, and enterprise IT services essential to national security. It oversees Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3), Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (JEMSO), Global Strike, and Missile Threat Assessments, working closely with other Combatant Commands, Services, and defense agencies. SCITLS will be a key component that will ensure mission success and the safety of the U.S. and its allies by providing 24/7 IT services and network support for NIPRNet, SIPRNet, JWICS, and SAP/SAR environments.
SMPES INTERGRATION SECURITY ENGINEER
Performs security engineering for the integration of six separate program systems into the Strategic Mission Planning and Execution System (SMPES).
Evaluates security risks and is responsible for the planning and execution of security engineering activities associated with the integration of six separate systems into SMPES.
Implements security measures and ensures cyber compliance with relevant regulations.
Documents SMPES security controls including security diagrams, plans, documentation, procedures, policies, logs, audits, audit trails, and reports.
Provides support for conducting security tests and audits to validate security controls and facilitates SMPES audits, reviews, evaluations, tests, and security assessments.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
HS/GED/1+ year of experience
Security Clearance Level: Top Secret with SCI eligibility
Required Certifications: ITIL 4 Foundation; Cloud+ or SSCP or Security+ or GSEC
