Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

Practical project development towards commercial research productsDevelopment and validation of immunological detection methods for the analysis of biological samplesIndependent planning and execution of experiments including data analysis and appropriate documentation of experiments according to company policy.Laboratory maintenance, like instrument calibration and buffer preparationPerformance of testing and assays in accordance with approved methods and SOPsAssistance in troubleshooting, investigations and other duties as required.

Required Qualifications:

B.Sc. in Biology, Biochemistry, or related scienceHands-on experience with immunoassays (ELISA, bead-based multiplex assays, PLA or similar)Good understanding of immunology, cell biology and protein analysis techniques.Good problem-solving skills and logical approach to solving scientific problemsExcellent written and oral communication skillsPossesses analytical thinking skills that are applied to solving a complex scientific problemWorks well in a team environment and cooperates with other members of the team to find a solutionProficiency in German and English
