To further strengthen our capabilities, we are seeking a motivated and engaged Process Development Scientist (Immunology/Process Engineer/Biotechnology). What are you doing to do?
Develop tools and methods for manufacturing cells for clinical applications in the field of cell therapy in closed systems suitable for GMP environments.Design experimental plans, lead the execution of experimental work in the laboratory employing Design of Experiments.Troubleshoot and solve technical problems in the execution/design of a projectAnalyze data and present results to peers, internal and external collaborators.Write procedures, protocols, and reports.Lead research projects with support from junior scientists.Participate in cross-functional project teams.Maintain and take responsibility for instruments (maintenance and contact person).How do you get there?
Masters in Immunology, Chemical Engineering or Biotechnology, or a Bachelors degree with a minimum of 4 years work experience, or a PhD with 0-2 years experience in the previously mentioned fields.Immune cell culturing (primary cells and cell lines), multicolor flow staining and analysis, process development, GMP manufacturingPreferred experience in process development in the Biotechnology/Pharmaceutical industry or pre-clinical/clinical research hospital laboratories.Organized and skilled at maintaining accurate laboratory records.Knowledge, skills, & abilities
Strong relationship-building skills.Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.Enjoy working in a high-paced environment with the ability to meet deadlines.Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills in English.Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in New York is $83,300.00–$116,000.00.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
