You will work with key partners to ensure that food safety requirements are accurately translated into raw material, process and product specifications in a timely manner, provide basic food safety requirements advice to key stakeholders, and direct detailed technical questions to the Food Safety Team experts.

What you need to know about this position:

Purpose of the Role

You will be working in our Global Food Safety team accountable for food safety assessments of materials, specification reviews and approvals and gathering food safety data from our suppliers for creation of new specifications.

Main Responsibilities

Accountable for food safety assessments of materials and specifications approvals across all regions and categoriesCollate, manage and interpret supplier information to decide on food safety requirements.Consult with Subject Matter Experts on any information concerning food safety data in the specification.Build food safety specifications in SAP PLM (SAP based specification system) to facilitate the transfer of Food Safety data into relevant specifications.Lead project workstreams to implement or update Mondelez’s food safety requirementsProvide input into cross-functional teams regarding food safety specification requirements

Candidate Requirements

Food Technology/Food Safety/ Microbiology related degree.Understanding of ingredients, their manufacturing processes and composition.First food safety requirement experience in at least one of the following: microbiological hazards, thermal processing, or allergens.Attention to detail.Self-motivated and enthusiastic.Good communication skills.Good working knowledge of MS Office (including Microsoft teams) and to be IT competent
