Scientist - Analytical
Job Title: Scientist – Analytical (2-Year Contract) Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (occasional weekends as needed) Industry: Biopharmaceuticals | Vaccine & mAb Manufacturing Overview We are seeking a highly motivated Analytical Scientist to join our Quality Control Method Transfer and Validation team on a 2-year contract. This role is ideal for a scientist with a strong background in analytical chemistry and a passion for supporting method validation and transfer in a cGMP-regulated environment. Key Responsibilities + Design, plan, and execute laboratory experiments independently. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement appropriate analytical methodologies, including computational and modeling tools. + Lead multiple analytical projects, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables. + Perform in-process and final product sample analyses in collaboration with the method development team. + Draft and review validation protocols, technical reports, and data summaries. + Evaluate new instrumentation and analytical techniques to enhance lab capabilities. + Analyze experimental data and provide clear, actionable insights. + Mentor junior scientists and provide technical guidance as needed. + Support project leads and senior scientists to meet critical deadlines. Required Skills & Experience + Hands-on experience with GMP,HPLC,UPLC, and Empower software. + Proven ability to independently execute assays and manage protocol deviations. + Strong background in pharmaceutical chemistry and analytical method validation. + Experience with Waters HPLC, capillary electrophoresis, PA 800, and plate-based assays. + Familiarity with LIMS, cGMP, and quality control systems. Education + Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $65.00/hr.
