Job Title: Lead Expert, Technical Development, P&B -Perfumery City: São Paulo, Brazil Work Model: On-site Clevel: H The Lead Expert in Technical Development will be part of the Technical Development team for Consumer Fragrances and Fine Fragrance, based in Brazil, and will be responsible for actively contributing to the definition and implementation of the innovation strategy, as well as promotional executions aimed at the next generation of consumer fragrance solutions at dsm-firmenich. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong combination of strategic and creative competencies within the field of technical development, particularly in the field of GC-MS, with the ability to translate scientific and technological advancements into clear, market-relevant conceptual proposals. Furthermore, they must be capable of engaging both internal stakeholders and external clients, fostering a deep understanding of the functional and sensorial benefits of fragrances. Your key responsibilities + Will work in the Technical Development laboratory, developing fragrance solutions for internal and external customers; + Will apply his/her experience in analytical chemistry, namely GC-MS in the field of perfumery, to drive and support all regional Technical Development Perfumery requests, programs and needs in this field. For example: extraction and analysis of fragrances and raw materials, development of analytical methods for technical support of new or existing technologies. + Delivers best in class GC-MS analysis, OTIF. + Performs chromatographic analyses with the most varied Headspace techniques. + Responsible for all purchases of reagents, consumables and maintenance related to the GC-MS. You Bring + Education: Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or Pharmacy or related scientific area; + Experience in the B2B2C market, preferably in companies in the Fragrance, Mass Market, Pharmaceutical, Flavors or Ingredient Product Development segments; + Knowledge of formulations, mainly in Home Care, Personal Care and Fine Fragrance; + Experience in Analytical Development, to offer support in the development of new technology methods for the Home Care, Personal Care and Fine Fragrance segments; + Advanced English. + Skills in team management (technical and laboratory).
