Weβre on the lookout for a friendly, organized, and proactive **Schools and Group Coordinator** to manage our group reservation process and deliver exceptional guest service from first contact to the final wave goodbye. πποΈ
**Qualifications & Experience**
π§ **What You'll Do:**
As a key part of our Guest Experience and Sales team, you'll take the lead on coordinating school and group visits, ensuring a smooth, fun, and educational experience from start to finish. Here's what your day-to-day might include:
π§βπ« **Group Coordination & Guest Relations**
+ Handle all aspects of the group booking process β from initial inquiry to on-site welcome
+ Provide timely information and support to schools, tour operators, and group leaders
+ Be the smiling face that welcomes groups upon arrival ππ
+ Respond to guest questions and inquiries via phone and email ππ¬
π **Sales, Strategy & Organization**
+ Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with schools and group clients
+ Drive new and repeat business through effective communication and follow-ups πΌπ
+ Support on-site operations during special events, promotions, and peak periods
+ Maintain accurate records, contracts, and revenue reports ππ»
+ Attend trade shows and client meetings as needed to promote the attraction
π― **Project Management & Teamwork**
+ Coordinate sales calls and presentations
+ Develop schedules and event checklists to ensure seamless execution
+ Collaborate with internal teams to improve attraction experiences for groups
+ Support campaign analysis and help develop educational initiatives
**π** **What Weβre Looking For:**

Strong communication and organizational skills

Friendly, professional, and comfortable working with a wide variety of guests

Detail-oriented and great at juggling multiple priorities

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access)

Team player who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Positive attitude and adaptable to change
π **Education & Experience**
+ High school diploma or GED required
+ College degree preferred
+ 2+ years in customer service or group sales; call center experience a plus
**π§** **Extra Points If You Have:**
+ Event planning or hospitality experience πͺ
+ Experience with CRM systems or booking software
+ Familiarity with working in attractions, museums, or educational settings
**π** **Work Schedule & Conditions:**
+ Mostly MondayβFriday, but flexibility is key β some weekends, holidays, and early mornings may be required
+ Must be comfortable sitting, standing, walking, and using a computer for extended periods
+ May require occasional local travel
+ Ability to lift up to 10 lbs with or without accommodation
+ Work may be indoors or outdoors with varying temperatures and noise levels π‘οΈπ’
