We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to join our team and support the academic, social, and emotional well-being of students. The School Psychologist will work collaboratively with educators, parents, and other professionals to assess and address student needs, develop intervention plans, and foster a supportive learning environment.
Position Details
Assignment location: Rensselaer, IN Would consider Part-Time or Full-Time candidates Would consider virtual candidates Compensation: Virtual $50/hr | On-site $62/hr Full-Time Hours: 35 / Week | Part-Time Hours: Open to discussion Schedule: Monday – Friday (No Nights, No Weekends, No Holidays) Assignment Length: 25-26 School Year Weekly Pay + Benefits Start: August 5, 2025Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate academic, emotional, and behavioral needs of students. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral intervention plans (BIPs). Provide counseling and intervention services to students to address mental health concerns, social skills development, and crisis management. Monitor student progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations regarding special education and mental health services.Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Psychology (preferred). Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist (state-specific). Experience working with students across diverse age groups and backgrounds, preferred. Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools, intervention strategies, and special education regulations. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.?

Additional Information:
The School Psychologist works to support students through a variety of mental health and developmental issues and aid in qualifying students for additional support services. The School Psychologist is responsible for providing on-site psychological services to students under the jurisdiction of the state and district.
Minimum Requirements:
