We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and qualified School Psychologist, Counselor, or Social Worker to join our student support team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in promoting students’ social and emotional well-being, supporting their academic and behavioral success, and fostering a safe and inclusive school environment. Key Responsibilities: + Provide individual and group counseling to students experiencing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges. + Collaborate with teachers, administrators, school psychologist, and parents to develop intervention plans and strategies that support student needs. + Conduct risk assessments and crisis intervention when necessary. + Facilitate classroom presentations and workshops on mental health, coping skills, conflict resolution, and other related topics. + Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of services provided. + Act as a liaison with community mental health agencies and coordinate referrals for additional services. + Support the implementation of school-wide initiatives that promote positive mental health and social-emotional learning (SEL). Qualifications: + State licensure or certification in Social Work, School Counseling, or School Psychology + Experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting is preferred. + Strong interpersonal and communication skills. + Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Preferred Skills: + Experience with trauma-informed practices + Familiarity with IEP/504 plans and special education services Job Qualifications NYS Certification preferred or license.
