10-Month Position MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: + Support high school students in planning for school coursework and post-secondary planning + Work with the work-based learning coordinator to support work experience opportunities + Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, school district partners, and other school/community staff to promote student success + Develop and guide students in career awareness, planning, and post-secondary transitioning + Maintain accurate transcripts and records for students in the alternative high school setting + Develop and guide students in career awareness, planning, and post-secondary transitioning + Provide tours and information to students, families, and districts considering placement at Evertech Academy Job Qualifications REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: + NYS Certification as a School Counselor Civil Service Title: Guidance Counselor Job Number: 25-173
