Sheppard Pratt School and Residential Treatment Center is a year-round therapeutic educational and residential program for middle and high school-aged youths with severe emotional and behavioral disabilities. While in our care, youth attend an on-site, full-day, special and general education school that operates a 12-month program.

What can you expect?
This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a collaborative learning environment by providing behavior programming and implementation for the students in our care.
Specific responsibilities include:
Ensuring the timely completion of Individualized Education Program (IEP) documentations such as goals, The Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA), Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP), progress notes, and data summaries. Serving as a resource to treatment teams including teachers, staff, and families regarding behavior support and management. Supervising and providing mentorship to assistant behavior specialist(s) and/or resource specialists assigned to the school.Depending upon your credentials and licensure, this work may be done independently or under the supervision of a licensed professional.

A master’s degree in applied behavior analysis, behavioral psychology, special education, or closely related field of study. At least 3 years of related experience. One of the following licensures is preferred: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA)
