We are seeking a compassionate and collaborative Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team!
As a key support for both students and their caregivers, you will engage families in the treatment process, offer crisis intervention and risk assessment, and provide case management services. As the Therapist on the team your ability to build strong relationships, navigate challenging behaviors with de-escalation techniques, and contribute to a positive school culture will be essential.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support student mental health and academic success Provide therapeutic services (individual, group, family), case management, and treatment planning based on student needs Engage caregivers in the treatment process through regular communication and collaboration Deliver crisis intervention, including assessment, de-escalation, and service coordination Consult with school staff on mental health, crisis response, and trauma-informed practices Promote a positive school culture by leading or participating in student-centered activities Maintain clear communication with families, school personnel, and outside agencies Complete timely documentation and data collection to support service effectiveness and compliance
QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED:
Master’s degree in Social Work/Psychology/Counseling Registered with California BBS: ASW, AMFT, APCC, or full licensed Bilingual Spanish skill set, pass language proficiency exam At least 21 years of age TB test clearance, fingerprinting clearance, and any other state/federal licensing or certification requirements Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and insurability through Seneca Family of Agencies’ insurance policyPREFFERED:

Excellent organizational and critical-thinking skillsCommunicates clearly and compassionately with students, families, colleagues, and external partners
SKILLS OF AN IDEAL CANDIDATE
Experienced in crisis intervention, risk assessment, safety planning, and utilizing de-escalation strategies
Excellent documentation skills (writing treatment plans, assessments, progress notes, etc.) Understanding of cultural humility and competence in diverse communities
SCHEDULE
Part-time: Monday - Friday; 8:30am - 3pm 5 days per week, 6 hours per day OR 4 days per week, 7.5 hours per days
